Host Contractor – Professional Cleaning Services for Carpets.
When most people think of carpet cleaning it conjures up old-fashioned images of wet carpets, steam, strange chemicals and smells and hoping the carpet dries out before it’s required for use. Host is a dry carpet cleaning system, so the carpet doesn’t get wet and we don’t use those nasty smelly wet cleaning chemicals and solvents.
Why should I insist on having my carpets dry-cleaned?
Would you put an expensive wool suit in a washing machine? Of course you wouldn’t, you would have it professionally dry cleaned, Host works on the same principle! Host is safe to use on all kinds of carpet, including wool, sisal, seagrass and oriental rugs.
Because Host doesn’t use heat, steam or gallons of water there’s never any shrinkage or colour loss, so by comparison to wet cleaning Host is not only perfect for cleaning your carpets and upholstery, it’s great for the environment and saves money on your energy bill too.
How often should I have my carpets and upholstery cleaned?
Carpets and upholstery are invaded daily by general soiling, food particles and spills which in turn can create an ideal breeding ground for fleas, dust mites and bacteria. Just as the clothes we wear need regular cleaning to keep them fresh, hygienic and free from unpleasant odours, so carpets and upholstery require regular cleaning too.
In the home, we recommend carpets are cleaned every six months and upholstery once a year. In a business premises or public building foot traffic is much higher so more regular intervals of cleaning are required.
